Coronavirus Economic Advisory Council Economic Impact Survey

On March 17, 2020, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran established a Coronavirus Economic Advisory Council to assess the countywide impact on both small and large businesses. Co-Chairing the council is Hofstra University President Stuart Rabinowitz and IDA Chairman Richard Kessel.

As part of this effort, the Coronavirus Economic Advisory Council, facilitated by Hofstra University, is collecting data in order to develop a strategy to assist in addressing and mitigating the economic impacts of the pandemic. They are asking businesses and private nonprofits of any size or sector to take a ten minute survey to assess the impact of the coronavirus on their operations, finances, and employees. Your answers will help assess the impact of COVID-19 on our local economy and help Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and the Coronavirus Economic Advisory Council to continue to advocate for economic relief. Responses are requested by April 1, 2020. The survey, list of council members, and list of resources can be found at the Nassau County Coronavirus Economic Advisory Council webpage. Please feel free to forward this survey to any Nassau businesses within your network.

The Council thanks you for taking the time to complete this survey. Stay well and follow @NassauExecutive, @idaNassau, and visit New York State Empire State Development to stay informed on the latest COVID-19 updates.
