The Massapequa Chamber of Commerce has received the below information from the U.S. Small Business Administration – Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience.
The deadline is approaching for businesses and non-profit organization to apply for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) in NY impacted by the Incident #s 20192 & 20193 that occurred on January 9-10, 2024, to apply for physical damage disaster loans by the December 11, 2024 deadline.
The declaration covers the Primary county of Suffolk and the Contiguous county of Nassau. Below is a copy of the SBA fact sheet for the declaration.
Businesses of all sizes and private nonprofit organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace SBA Deadline to Apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) in NY for damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other business assets.
Applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at SBA.gov/disaster. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659‑2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
